Apex Legends gets a permanent new mode called Arenas in the new season, in which players will clash in smaller format matches – three-on-three.
Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts The big news of next season of Apex Legends, the so-called "Big Deal". Legacy updates, there will be a new game mode – Arenas. Unlike the Apex modes so far, which have come and gone, this one is there permanently and will allow players to calculate a slightly more close format – in arenas where two teams with three players each oppose each. More rounds will be played, and the winning team of the round will be the one whose players stay last on their feet. To win a complete match, it will take a minimum of three rounds to have a two-point lead over the opponent. So, 3-0 or 3-1. Or 4-2, 5-3, etc. If the match goes into the ninth round (4-4), that round is crucial and whoever wins it is the winner |
Matches will take place in well-known locations from existing folders (Kings Canyon, World's Edge and Olympus). Upon arrival legacy updates will be available in two folders for Arenas mode: Phase Runner and Party Crasher, but in the future there will be even more.
There will be no respawning by comrades in Arenas mode – if you are eliminated, you have to wait for the next round. The plot is that before each round, gun upgrades and treatment picked up by the player during the previous round can be used. Every match starts from scratch – with basic equipment and a few materials. Each subsequent round offers more and more to pick up, or in translation – the longer the matches last, the more frequent the gun upgrades. But you can't transfer those upgrades to the next match.
In addition to the new Arenas fashion, the new season of Apex Legends brings a new legend – Valkyrie. She is the daughter of one of the main villains of the Titanfall series, and belongs to the recon class. Her passive ability is to use jetpacks, and as a tactical attack she uses mini-missiles that disorient her opponent. Valkyrie's ultimate attack can soar high into the air.
Arenas and Valkyrie at Apex Legends come 4. 5. 2021.
