Amazfit T-Rex Pro officially – smartwatch for the most demanding

Huami's popular brand Amazfit has unveiled its new smartwatch, the T-Rex Pro, the very top of its range at a very attractive price of just $179.99.

For those who don't know Huami is a brand found in Xiaomi's ecosystem of thousands and thousands of high-end products. Previous of these models (T-Rex) was presented last year at the CES 2020 fair, so the new model in the name got "Pro", but of course it is better about the check we wrote in detail at the beginning of the month. Practically all characteristics are confirmed so we will only remind you of its characteristics, and below you can watch the official video.

The Amazfit T-Rex Pro falls into the category of robust or most enduring smartwatches, which has passed as many as 15 very demanding military tests during testing, and is designed to withstand even the most extreme conditions. The Always-On AMOLED display is round, with a diameter of 1.3 inches and a resolution of 360 x 360 dots (277ppi), is additionally covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 glass protection and has an oleophobic coating that prevents fingerprinting.

A special 3-oss sensor, an oxygen meter in the blood, as well as a geomagnetic sensor, altimeter, gyroscope in 3 wass are installed, and supports 10ATM water resistance. That's not all, supports as many as 4 global navigation systems (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo), as well as a new Bluetooth 5.0 BLE wireless system. 

The exterior itself is very attractive, we would say sporty, although it is much more than that, while the strap is made of silicone material that is very comfortable to wear. It supports as many as 100 different sports and works on the company's operating system (RTOS). Of course, a heart rate reader is also installed that accompanies you 24 hours a day (BioTracker 2 PPG Bio-Tracking optical sensor).

A 390mAh battery is installed, which should withstand up to 18 days of average and 9 days of intensive use respectively, while the GPS navigation system will operate for up to 40 hours. On the underside there are magnetic charging contacts, and up to 100% will be charged in about an hour and a half.

The Amazfit T-Rex Pro is already on sale in America, while in Europe it will appear on March 31 in black, gray and blue, and the recommended price is $179.99.
