Xbox's subscription service Xbox Game Pass has been growing impressively well. Xbox Game Pass gains new games quite frequently, including some really high-note surprises, and has now announced the newest batch of games coming to the service in May.

Xbox has invested heavily in Xbox Game Pass, including putting all of its future first-party titles on the service both on consoles and PC the day that they launch. Xbox Game Pass is available on Xbox consoles, PC, and via cloud gaming on Android devices, so the announced games are each available on a selection of the available platforms.

The news comes via Xbox Game Pass' official Twitter account and comes quickly after it was announced that Xbox Game Pass would be getting Dragon Quest Builders 2 this month. Leading the announcement is Just Cause 4 Reloaded, which includes Just Cause 4 and all of its new DLC with a few new enhancements thrown in as well and is coming to the service on console, cloud, and PC. There is also survival horror title Outlast 2 coming to console, cloud, and PC, as well as Red Dead Online coming to only console and cloud. The additions also include Ubisoft's open-world snow sports title Steep, which is coming both to the cloud and console versions of the service.

Other big-name additions include Final Fantasy 10 and Final Fantasy 10-2 for console and PC, as well as Remnant: From the Ashes on just PC as it is already available on consoles. The additions also include adding Psychonauts for all three platforms ahead of Xbox's first-party sequel that is expected to release sometime this year. One of the biggest additions, however, is the release of FIFA 21 as part of Xbox Game Pass' recent inclusion of EA Play. While the additions are already a solid start to May for the subscription service, Xbox Game Pass does have six titles leaving the service later this month across its multiple platforms.

Xbox Game Pass' new additions have a good amount of variety so that there is something for everyone, whether players are looking for high-octane action, chilling horror, multiplayer action, or some sports simulation. It is good to see so many of the new titles supporting the cloud gaming ability of Xbox Game Pass, but it will be interesting to see how multiplayer titles such as Red Dead Online fare on streaming compared to console players.

Of course, any subscribers not interested in the newly added games have plenty of options to look forward to, as Xbox Game Pass routinely gets new additions, including some upcoming releases like EA's Knockout City.
