Nintendo Announces Game Builder Garage – a Game for Making Games

In the sixth month, Nintendo will launch a brand new game: Game Builder Garage, which is actually a tool for creating other games and learning programming.

Game-making games generally bring together a very loyal community of players. Roblox is a platform that definitely leads the way in front of everyone else, but sony's Dreams and Nintendo's Super Mario Maker series also recorded solid results. The latter title was Nintendo's game-stacking set, but through Nintendo Labo the company also provided an opportunity to learn the basics of programming. This opportunity will now turn into a standalone game for the Nintendo Switch console.

Game Builder Garage is a new Switch exclusive that arrives in a month – 11. 6. 2021. At a cost of 30 euros, this "game" will allow players to understand the principles of programming and video game making through interactive training. With the elaboration of controls, designing gameplay, inserting effects, etc., players will be able to develop rudimentary 2D games and share them with others online.

The nice thing is that this will be one of the few applications on the Switch console that will support mouse control, so connect the mouse to the base station (dock) of the console itself.
