Lost Judgment continues detective story and moves to Yokohama

Detective Takayuki Yagami returns – a sequel to Sega's Judgment game has been announced, bringing a new location and – a return to high school.

The Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio team, known for the Yakuza series, will continue the detective story of the Judgment series, which they began in 2019. Sega has just announced a sequel called Lost Judgment that arrives faster than anyone had hoped – as early as 9/2021, for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S.

In Lost Judgment, we will retake the role of Detective Takayuki Yagami. He still works as a humble detective in Kamurocho District, but by chance he is embroiled in a mysterious case that will require him to strain his deduction skills. The game will bring over 1,000 minutes of voice dialogue in directed scenes, and will take place largely in the city of Yokohama.

A significant part of the story will be related to high school, in which Detective Yagami must infiltrate under cover to obtain essential information to solve the case. Developers say this allowed them to inject a humorous tone into the game and in addition to the main story, they also made optional Scool Stories content that was "full of laughter, tears, drama and tension."
