On Four legs: The new Dog-Robot

A new robot could take the crown from similar Boston Dynamics robots. At issue is SN-3 Nova – a four-lecturing mechanical "pet" designed by designer Amin Akhshi.

IC: Boston Dynamics
We already know Spot the robot from Boston Dynamics. It is most often compared to a dog and has different applications – from pulling rickshaws, opening doors, to moving boxes and other more or less serious actions. The new SN-3 New robot belongs to the same family, and it's designed to do those jobs that are dangerous to human beings, and could jeopardize its hard-won fame.

There are many who argue that the four-lected Spot looks a little dystopian, and because of the way it moves, those tasks for which it has so far been enabled. Thus, these robots are described as those who "can climb stairs, and move through complex terrain with incredible ease," and can move at 1.6 meters per second, and endure 90 minutes of one-charge activity, use a 360-degree LIDAR vision, as well as an L DetectionIght and Raging system that can map each inner and outer space in three dimensions. So Spot can move freely without hitting obstacles, as well as following targeted objects, without additional training.

The competition is a difficult task – SN-3 Nova is designed as a robot for maintaining electronic devices located in environments that are dangerous to human health. There's an LED display on the front, and there's a 3D laser scanner and an HDR camera. Thanks to EndoWrist instruments, this robot can repair most electrical devices without the time limit that exists when it comes to human workers.
