Filming of the last frame of the second season of The Witcher series has ended, and that probably means we'll get a sequel to the Story of Geralt this year.

Like many other media, the pandemic made it as difficult as possible to film the second season of The Witcher series. Also Henri Kavil, the actor who interprets Geralta suffered an injury while filming an action scene in the treetops.
Fortunately, with all the complications and delays, it seems we will have something to look forward to in the new season.
Expect many more witches, including Geralt's tutor Vesemir and young rookie Lambert.
Netflix revealed details of the story late last year, but we think you'd better discover it yourself when the series premieres.
In March 2021. Netflix has revealed seven other characters to add to the cast. They are:
- Adjoa Andoh as Nenneke, Priestess Melitele from books
- Liz Carr as Fenn
- Simon Callow as Fenn's partner Codringher
- Graham McTavish as head of the Dijkstra Military Force
- Chris Fulton as mag Rience
- Cassie Clare as The Orderly Royal Advisor Philippa Eilhart
- Kevin Doyle from Downton Abbey, as Ba'Lian, the new character
- Ed Bazalgette (Last Kingdom, Doctor Who)
- Sarah O'Gorman (Jamestown, Cursed)
