Battle royale game Naraka: Bladepoint, in which there will be no dumping but only quick movements and close fights, will be available to try next week.
If you're looking for something new and potentially a little different from a bunch of battle royale games, next week you'll be able to try Naraka: Bladepoint on your PC.IC: Naraka Bladepoint
It is a martial multiplayer game that was announced at the end of 2019 and is now close to completion. An open beta test will follow before the official launch, which will take place from 23 to 25 April.
Beta test applications are accepted on Steam and you can sign up for access there.
Naraka: Bladepoint promises martial battle royale, that is, a close fight with an opponent. How close? In the game we will have a hook that we can pin to the opponent and thus get close to him. The hook will also serve to move around the environment as Naraka requires fast movement and plenty of verticality (translated: climbing the roofs of buildings).
Naraka: Bladepoint will stand out for one more thing besides its slightly different approach to battle royale. It will be the first game made in unity engine to support Nvidia's DLSS technology for better performance of games at higher resolutions.
Below you can see a demonstration of the effectiveness of DLSS on RTX 3060 cards, and keep in mind that Unity Engine and Nvidia DLSS will be a frequently seen pair in the future as DLSS will be natively integrated into Unity by the end of 2021.
