This means that during autonomous driving behind the wheel of a car, a qualified driver will have to sit down before he can intervene and take over the steering in case of need.

Arcfox AlphaS HBT will be officially unveiled on 17 March. April with three other Arcfox models at the Shanghai Motor Show.

The car will be what they say will be "a new generation of smart and fully electric luxury sedan developed in partnership between Arcfox and Huawei."

Huawei stressed that the car would not be sold under its brand. In doing so, they denied speculation that a Huawei EV was coming.
